For this look I wanted to create a living room space that had an elegant, timeless, cosy feel. To achieve this I went for a neutral colour palette and added in pops of dark navy. For the cosy elements, I believe this is achieved through accessorising. So I selected lots of warm textured cushions in mohairs and furs to add layers to the room. I have suggested baskets for a corner of the room to have lots of throws and hold all your home snugs. The candle holders as well will add that touch of warmth especially now we have reached the winter months. The dark blue velvet sofa from Made.com is the real feature of the room and for such an amazing price. I suggest this to be the focal point of the room layered with all the cushions and the beautiful industrial window mirror to sit centre on top. When styling a room with a feature colour, like I have done here in the Navy, be sure the colour is then balanced throughout the room. For instance on the grey armchair, copy over the navy sofa colour by having a navy cushion on the armchair.
